The krewes of Druids and Nyx will roll along the Uptown route on Wednesday (Feb. 11), kicking off this week's Mardi Gras 2015 parades. Watch them both live right here.

Neither krewe reveals its theme until it makes its appearance on the streets of New Orleans. Both begin at Magazine Street and Jefferson Avenue and run along the traditional Uptown route.

The Krewe of Druids, a satirical, 20-float procession, kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Krewe members toss include doubloons, medallion necklaces and umbrellas.

The all-female Krewe of Nyx presents a 35-float parade with a satirical theme, which will remain secret until it's time to roll. Throws include decorated purses, decks of cards, doubloons and more.

Also this week, tune in for our live-streaming parade cams on Thursday, when you can watch the krewes of Babylon, Chaos and Muses from the comfort of your home.

On Friday, if you can't make it out to Hermes, D'Etat and Morpheus, come back to NOLA.com. On Saturday, catch Iris and Tucks. On Sunday, catch Okeanos, Mid-City, Thoth and Bacchus. On Monday, Proteus and Orpheus. Finally, on Fat Tuesday, see Rex, roll. We will live stream those parades as well.
