Crews are (finally) repaving one of the Big Easy's most popular Mardi Gras parade routes

In welcomed news to Mardi Gras parade revelevers yesterday on NOLA.com, Jennifer Larino reports that "Road crews have started laying fresh pavement on Napoleon Avenue, a long-awaited sign that major drainage construction along the busy road is in its final stages."

She goes on to say, "It remains to be seen whether the current muddy neutral ground will be laid over with sod in time for parades."
