Mardi Gras Parade Cam: Watch Hermes, D'Etat and Morpheus roll live on Friday (Feb. 13)

The krewes of Hermes, D'Etat and Morpheus will roll along the Uptown route on Friday (Feb. 12). Watch them both live right here.

Come back every night until Mardi Gras 2015 to watch parades rolling live.

Flambeaux and masked lieutenants on horseback lead the way, starting at 6 p.m., for the 29-float Krewe of Hermes parade, which portrays the theme "The Ballets Russes." Throws include foam footballs, plus spears and lighted beads. One float will certainly catch the eye of art lovers. It includes a reproduction of one of the Ballets Russes' cubist costumes designed by Pablo Picasso.

Krewe D'Etat's dictator reigns over the 24-float, satirical parade, which is slated to roll at 6:30 p.m. Highlights include the Budweiser Clydesdales, the Skeleton Walking Krewe, and bands from local schools. The theme is kept secret until the parade hits the streets, but it is certainly sure to be a satirist's dream. Throws include doubloons, cups and beads.

Following as the third parade of the night is the 20-float Krewe of Morpheus parade, which is slated to start at 7 p.m. and carries the theme "Freaky Friday." Look for more than a dozen marching bands and a new tandem float. Throws include sheep plush dolls and doubloons.
