Chahta's Mardi Gras parade rolls Tuesday in Lacombe

Mardi Gras season fans in Lacombe will be able to enjoy a parade when the Krewe of Chahta rolls Fat Tuesday (Feb. 9). The procession starts at 1 p.m.

Chahta, which began as an idea in 1989 among friends, will celebrate its 26th anniversary this year. Its name was chosen in honor of Chahta-Ima High School, where many of the founding members studied. Chahta's theme this year is "Spirit of the Wind."
